I see so much
whenever I take
just a moment
to really gaze,
to see inside to the soul --
it oftentimes takes
my breath away
when I discover
the secrets,
the hurts,
the fears
the hopes and dreams
just lying
barely beneath the surface.
It amazes me
just how much truth
comes pouring through
whenever I gaze deeply
into others' eyes...
The soul, the heart
truly tells no lies...
